My obsidian soul
My hidden places
And murky corners
All within
Dark and needy
Loud and greedy
A taste for sin
In those corners
Opaque and bleak
He can see
The light within
Despite the sin
Taking all of me
As I am
Without fear
Without shame
He knows my heart
He knows my name
As do Iβ¦
I am his
He is mine

Wow, Tess, I loved this. It absolutely encapsulates all my own thoughts from earlier. A beautiful journey all the way through, but, I loved these two lines… “Dark and needy, loud and greedy” they evoke such wonderful images.

Hey love! Sorry for the delay answering you. I’ve been running like a fool the past couple of weeks. Hope you are well.
There is a concert in my hometown tonight and my God son is the opening act. YAAAAY!!!
